About, Face!

Lower temperatures made this run into work better than the run from work.  How odd that sounds; the run in was better than leaving work!  Wearing a mini "road guard" vest and carrying a Wal-Mart bag of stuff sucked.  I had a change of PT uniform, cell phone, Clif bar, travel Shampoo bottle, PT card and ID card in the bag.  The bag kept wanting to untie itself and all the items came out of the PT shirt where they were rolled up, so i had to keep tightening my grip up on the bag.  I will run with my Camelbak bag on for this run from now on.  It's not really about time, its about getting from one place to another.

Only 1 close call with the cars.  Also only 1 car out of about 10 from the Ranger Training BDE's shift change actually gave me more room than needed.  Still a good time of day to run, as most people are not coming into Kelley Hill yet.

Bottom Line: 6.6 miles - 4.6 miles in 38:10 @ 8:18 avg pace and a 2 mile cool down run in 17:30 @ 8:45 avg pace
