Victory!

9 for 9! My platoon had nine Soldiers that needed to complete (and were not recovering from other injuries) the EIB road march. They made me proud to be the platoon sergeant; then they all volunteered to help on our last day at the House of Heroes project we were working on!

I marched with my Bradley vehicle driver and gunner most of the way, then moved back and forth with them and a few others on the last 4 miles. I did more than 12, but that's good enough for record. The important thing is that everyone made it within Infantry standards.

I received 5 new Soldiers over the last couple of days, so I will now have to teach them the Spirit of the Spartans!

Bottom line: Beat last months 12 mile road march time; 2 hours, 38 minutes.
